About Us
Your Child Is in Great Hands
Our Mission
Beautiful Minds Early Learning Center's mission is to provide an environment for families that is safe, builds trust, treats everyone; adults and child alike with dignity and respect, and provide opportunities, materials and activities that are fun and engaging for children.
We prepare children for kindergarten, not only academically, but physically (dress themselves), socially (language and problem-solving skills), and emotionally (communicate their feelings and needs).
We build children's self-esteem through independent activities, acceptance and respect for one another.
We create an environment and provide materials for creative expression through art, music, loose parts for free play both indoors and outdoors.
Guidance & Caring Procedures
Beautiful Minds Early Learning Center recognizes that without building connections with children, there can be no trust. Creating a safe space, not only physically, but also emotionally is the foundation to forming trusting relationships with children, their families and co-workers.
A child's independence is encouraged, and therefore the skills of dressing oneself, toileting on their own, putting things away where they belong, cleaning up a spill, will all be supported according to each child's abilities and stage of development.
Problem-solving skills will be developed through supportive guidance, giving children the language skills needed when required to work something out with a friend, as well as allowing appropriate time for children to figure things out on their own before stepping in.
